Cosy, rustic and welcoming, no. 9 is just the right mix of classic Cotswolds and modern luxury with all the little touches you’d expect in a boutique hotel.

Our elegant 18th Century Georgian Coaching Inn has been restored to former glory with a warmly sympathetic stamp of contemporary country cool to its old stone walls and wooden beams.

All three of our rooms are comfy and charming with light, soft hues, super-comfy beds and modern en-suite bathrooms. We’ve worked hard to ensure that your stay has a home-from-home feel coupled with a pampered relaxing touch so you can actually put your feet up!

Start your mornings with our hearty breakfast dishes before strolling up to the beautiful market square and then set your sights on a countryside stroll in the afternoon . Set in the historic town of Stow-on-the-Wold, no.9 is your serene countryside Bed and Breakfast stay.

"Perfect"

I booked this purely based on the reviews and I’m glad I did. Huge comfortable bed, lovely deep bath tub, fluffy towels, quality products and a Fantastic location. Everything was great. You won’t be disappointed.

Absolute Perfection!!! What an amazing place No9 is. We were made to feel at home from the very minute we arrived. I am not sure BnB does this justice it is more than that. Merlyn treated us like friends and Goose was a little star. We had a fantastic stay. Will absolutely be returning. 10/10

"Little Jewel in Stow"

Best B and B we have stayed in UK. Boutique style with tasteful decor. Comfiest bed and quality breakfast. Veggie breakfast was outstanding. Location is central for all you need and hosted by a great couple. Thank you Merlyn, John and Goose.

"The best B&B I have ever stayed in!"

There is nothing to fault and so much to commend about this B&B. Number Nine is the cleanest property I have every seen and definitely one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in. The B&B is stunning inside and is decorated to reflect the county style with the most glorious cottage style en-suite. Everything is so well thought out here, and there are so many extra touches that made our stay exceptional. Merlyn and Jon really do go above and beyond. No amount of superlatives can convey how fantastic this place is. I wish we could have stayed longer!

"What a stay!"

Truly the best B&B I have ever stayed in. The room was just gorgeous, super comfy bed, lovely bathroom and incredibly clean! Brilliant location right in the centre of Stow. Jon was a great host all weekend and responded promptly to all of our queries. The breakfast both days was delicious and it really was a treat staying at Number 9. Really good value for money! Thank you Jon and Merlyn! We will be back.

The B&B is perfectly located in the middle of Stow with restaurants/pubs and shops in close walking distance. It has been beautifully renovated and is very comfortable.
